Why Dry Film Lubricant Coatings?
Dry film lubricants can be used for a number of different applications. They are often used when liquid lubricants (grease and oil based) cannot be used due to of high or low temperature applications or vacuum conditions. Liquid lubricants compare to solid lubricants have considerably narrow range of applications. Out of that range the liquid lubricants cannot longer provide protection to the sliding and contacting surfaces, while dry film lubricants continue serve and protect.
